Day 117 - Weigh-in Results: 262 lbs.

Down 1 lb. this week.  All is good.  Water today, so far: 1 incoming, and 17,978 outgoing (or at least it feels that way)

I should note a milestone today. I've lost 45 lbs, as of this morning, since July 20th!  I am also exactly halfway to reaching my current mini-goal.  Just 15 lbs to go, to leave the morbid obesity category FOREVER.

Since my December, 2009 doctor's appointment, I've lost a total of 65 lbs.  Awesome!  But, I'm looking forward these days, and can't wait to visit the 250s ...

My BMI is clinging to the 42s, but I'm hoping to drag it, kicking and screaming if I have to, into the 41s.

hahaha

SDDDY6 Update:

Calories today: 1,510

Water today:  18

  2. LOL Thanks, Anne! Hey, the scale still moved downward, so I have no complaints. I'm getting healthier with each passing week. How is the great state or Arkansas this morning? I'm looking forward to seeing your next travel log update.

  7. Tessa, you'll get there. Last December (2009) my BMI - per my official medical record - was 54.5 and today it is 42.3 !! )I am REALLY hoping I can get it under 40.0 by year's end, but I have no official deadline date for accomplishing this.)

Thank you, Everyone, for all your encouraging words and well wishes! And yes, Sheilah, I'm definitely SLOOSHING these days! LOL My body must be adjusting though, because I'm not running to the bathroom every 20-30 minutes anymore.

  8. That's a huge amount in only 4 months. Dang. It takes me way, way longer to lose that chunka fat change. Good on you!!!

Scale finally showed a drop down after 3 days of not so much. Hurrah.

Let's kill this challenge. Woo hoo!!

  9. Excellent, another pound down!
You asked, Do Chicagoland Residents lose less weight in winter, due to the hibernation effect? That has been true for me. The combination of staying inside more and the treats that are more abundant in the cold months has seen me grow outward many a winter.

  11. Constant weight loss...that is awesome and you should be very proud of yourself. I struggle with consistency, but that doesn't seem to be a problem for you. Well done.
